Amazon Fee Estimator
Referral, closing and weight-handling fees on a price you are considering.
What this estimates
Three fee lines that apply to most Amazon India SKUs:
- Referral fee — the category percentage you selected, applied to the net
selling price.
- Closing fee — a fixed per-unit charge that varies by fulfilment route and
price band. Modelled here with indicative slabs.
- Weight handling — applies on FBA and Easy Ship, banded by shipping weight
including packaging.
Why the number here is only indicative
Amazon's fee schedule is granular: bands differ by category, price point, size tier, storage duration, and marketplace — and they are revised regularly. This tool uses a simplified slab structure to give you an order of magnitude.
Two things this will not catch that regularly surprise sellers:
- Size-tier boundaries. A few millimetres of packaging can move a SKU between
tiers and change the fulfilment fee materially.
- Weight rounding. Shipping weight is dimensional or actual, whichever is
higher, and is rounded up.
For a number you can price against, use the full model inside SMEMinds Playbook, which reads the current published schedule.
This is the simple version.
